“My dad was always a simple man, a hard worker, farmer and family man. Every once in awhile he’d get cleaned up, put on a tie and a button-up shirt. Like I said, he was a simple man so it was usually the same suit shirt and tie. When he passed away I knew what I wanted to have made that would remind me of him - a piece made from that same shirt and tie. I also included leather from his work boots and part of his Ohio Air National Guard hat and had a suncatcher made. Looking at that piece holds the memory of my dad close to me.”
